Online Teaching: Anywhere, Anytime
It’s very hard to beat the convience and flexibility of learning online, from wherever er you can plug in your laptop, tablet, or mobile device. It’s thus possible for PhD Tutoring of The Delaware Valley to provide tutoring services to an almost unlimited range of people, all over the world.
Given the ever-growing number of online teaching tools and platforms, there is very little that can’t be accomplished virtually by an experienced teacher who knows how to make the most our of the possibilities of the contemporary digital environment. PhD Tutoring is well-versed in all aspects of online teaching, and can work with your schedule to offer the services you need, as you need them, around the clock.
Although we generally teach one student at a time, we can accomodate up to two students, working virtually, who are engaged in the same subject area and are at roughly the same learning level, for a small surcharge.
Please note, in-person tutoring requires no monthly contract or tutoring minimums.
In Person Teaching: We Come To You
Some students prefer to learn in person, in their own home or office, or in a neutral location, such as a bookshop cafe or coffee shop. PhD Tutoring of The Delaware Valley can provide in-person tutoring at a location of your chosing anywhere within a 30-mile radius of the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia, PA, or a 25-mile radius of Wilmington, DE. (The radii of these two locations overlap with each other.)
Please note, in-person tutoring requires a monthly contract with a six-hour tutoring minimum, and includes a 20% travel surcharge. The travel surcharge is 14% for quarterly contracts.
Hybrid Teaching: A Mix of In Person and Online
Some students prefer to mix online learning with learn in person. Our in-person meetings can be in your home or office, or in a neutral location, such as a bookshop cafe or coffee shop. PhD Tutoring of The Delaware Valley can provide in-person tutoring at a location of your chosing anywhere within a 30-mile radius of the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia, PA, or a 25-mile radius of Wilmington, DE. (The radii of these two locations overlap with each other.)
Please note, hybrid tutoring requires a monthly contract with a six-hour tutoring minimum, and includes two monthly in person sessions with a 12.5% travel surcharge. The travel surcharge is reduced to 10% for quarterly contracts.
